Stray Films…..
This guy is new to the DSLR thing and this is what he produces. He knows how to handle a camera though. The shot at 1.00 to 1.48 is a brave shot and it works well. Some of the stuff is quite ordinary but other stuff is beautiful the sunset shots from the forest is great, love the flares.

Jason….. Jason has done a fine job here a standard music and pictures piece. Nice colours and not too long. The glide track work is not smooth if watching full screen.
Philip Bloom….. Here is the master at this sort of nonsense. Great pics, good natural up sound, nice music, excellent slider work and pull focuses but ultimatle too long. Christine Schmitthenner….. I love this one. It’s a story, its got good music, lovely pictures and it kept my interest. There is so much going on here if you look at what Christine used on the shoot http://vimeo.com/14783757 she throws everything at it.
Simon Owen…… There is a lot going on in this film, Simon has gone for time-lapse, hand held , slow-mo, and glide track. It is to long for my liking but you have got to appreciate the work that must have gone it to it.
Eear….. This is a massive 6 min film. (ok it is essentially a corporate) I really like the subject matter, the access is phenomenal. The music fantastically industrial. I like it. Dare I say it again IT IS TOO LONG.

Philip Bloom….. OK, the master does it again. What exactly has he done, what is he responsible for? It’s GVs with music. It’s too long and boring. However it is not done for entertainment, it is just practising with a camera. Some nice pics though. Is that harsh?
Khalid Mohtaseb….. Khalid has produced some fantastic images. The music works well with the pictures. The subject matter held my interest for the 3.30 mins.
Matthew Allard…. You have got to look at Matthews other stuff on vimeo. This guy is a proper working cameraman (see:http://blogs.aljazeera.net/profile/matthew-allard). He uses the DSLR cameras where required and he uses them to tell real stories. Nice.
